Scholarships

Molly Nemer from Henry Sibley High School, West St. Paul for her Senior Individual Documentary, "Opening Levittown: Moving the First Black Family into America's Second Suburb". Nemer earned a full academic scholarship to Case Western Reserve University, one of three scholarhsips available to National History Day participants and the only one that provides for a four year tuition.

Salute to Freedom

Emma Weisner from Saint Louis Park High School. Weisner will be traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana in January 2013 for the grand opening of the US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center at the National World War II Museum. She completed two essays regarding  how participating in National History Day has impacted her view of the past and how Minnesota was impacted by World War II.
