Noun: Spanish for farmer or peasant.

Noun: A title or brief explanation attached to an illustration or cartoon.

Noun: A domesticated subspecies of the water-buffalo, native to Southeast Asia.

Adjective:  Careful; using or exercising caution; tentative.

Noun: Distress or embarrassment at having failed or been humiliated.

Verb:  To act as chairperson, someone who presides over a meeting, board, etc.  (chairs, chairing, chaired)

Noun:  Type of singing done generally without instruments and harmony that requires the repetition of the same spoken words.

Noun:  A state of disorder or confusion.

Noun: A moral strength.

Noun:  An ability to please or make people happy.

Adjective:  Blackened by fire.

Noun:  The conditions surrounding an event.

Noun:  1. A person that is a legally recognized as a member of a state or country, with associated rights and obligations.  2. A person that is a legally recognized resident of a city or town.  3. A resident of any particular place to which the subject feels to belong.

Noun:  The status of being legally recognized by a country as one of its citizens.

Adjective:  Having to do with a city or the people that live there.

Noun:  A grouping in society based on a person's wealth, education, and other characteristics.

Noun: Permission for a person to travel.

Noun: A very predictable or unoriginal thing, person, or idea.

Noun:  A customer; a buyer.

Noun:  Hmong word meaning guerrilla soldier, a soldier in a small independent group, fighting against the government or regular forces by surprise raids.

colleague

Noun: A fellow member of a profession, staff, academic faculty or other organization; an associate.

communicate

Verb:  To express or convey ideas, either through verbal or nonverbal methods.  (communicates, communicating, communicated)

communication

Noun: The exchange of information between different parties.

communion

Noun: A Christian sacrament commemorating the Last Supper of Christ.

communism

Noun: The basic belief that property and goods should be owned in common.

communist

Noun: A member of a Communist political party or movement, or a supporter of the political philosophy of communism; they usually advocate for a classless society with communal ownership of property, and often set up one-party totalitaran type governments.

Noun:  A group of people who share a common understanding of the same language, manners, tradition and law.

Verb:  To seek or strive for the same thing, position, or reward for which another is striving; to contend in rivalry, as for a prize or in business.  (competes, competing, competed)

Adjective:  Free; provided at no charge.

Noun:  An idea; an understanding; a generalization.

conception

Noun:  An image, idea, or notion.

conclusion

Noun: A decision reached after careful thought.

Noun:  1. A requirement or need, or a limitation.  2. A state or quality.
