Ravinder Manku, c.2001.

Ravinder Manku was born Nairobi, Kenya to a family of Asian Indian origin. Her family also lived in Zambia and in Canada, where Ravinder attended college.  She moved to the U.S. in 1995 to continue her education, and at the time of the interview was working on her PhD and doing educational research.
