Bringing Storytelling to Life in your Classroom

Thanks to generous funding from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, we are excited to offer a full-day free workshop for classroom teachers: "Through Different Eyes: Bringing Storytelling to Life in your Classroom."

Storytelling is and has been an important part of many cultures, and can be a vibrant way to engage your students in the classroom. Join us for a day of historical and modern storytelling, pedagogy and skills related to telling stories in a classroom, teaching with music and pop culture, and conversation and fun with Robin Nelson, a Minnesota Ojibwe educator.

Light breakfast, lunch and parking are included. Teachers who attend the full day will receive seven CEUs.

This workshop is free, but registration is required. This workshop is geared toward classroom teachers of grades 5-12. If you are having difficulty registering for the workshop, please contact the MNHS Box Office at 651-259-3015.
