History Workshops

The Minnesota Historical Society offers a variety of professional development for educators. For the 2013-2014 school year, MHS Teacher Members will receive a $20 discount on Northern Lights workshops, History Day workshops, and the standard Teacher Education workshops.

For general information about workshops, call Jessica Ellison at 651-259-3427 or email jessica.ellison@mnhs.org.

Subsidies are available and meant to assist teachers who have limited access to professional development funding. For more information, visit the subsidy webpage. Subsidies are not available for History Day workshops, bus tours, historic site immersion, or the elementary workshop.

Registrants cancelling 24 hours before the workshop are eligible for a refund or credit. (This includes weather related cancellations.)
Less than 24 hours notice - Registrants who are unable to attend the workshop may substitute someone to attend in their place; substitutions will be made at the registration desk the day of the event. No refunds or credits will be granted for non-attendance or cancellations.
