The historic site is located 20 miles north of Two Harbors and within Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. A convenient stop off Highway 61 makes it a favorite spot for Minnesota vacationers. Hike in from your campsite or drive in from your North Shore resort!

Parking

Free parking for Historic Site visitors during site hours only. A State Park vehicle permit is required during off hours. Five disability parking spots are available in the lot. The pathway is paved from the parking lot the the visitor center.
