Dear
Sir – I hereby notify that Carl Hammerberg is no in my employ he has been
in the habit of going to the city every Saturday evening and last Saturday he
was leaving with out my permission and he has not reported up to this 3 PM. Mr.
Vasley (sic) you know a man working on a farm can not be going to the city and
should two nights away while the chores have to be done and that is part of his
work he is not a very ambitious young man.
I think it would be wise to send
one of your agents to come here and investigate his case my residences is no at
Lakewood half mile out of the city lines.
Yours truly,
H. H.
Thompson
