Dear Sir:--
With
reference to you letter of June 16th relative to the Duluth affair,
it may interest you to know that twelve persons have already been indicted and
arrested on first degree murder charges on account of alleged participation in
the lynchings. The grand jury has not completed its investigation and the state
departments are, of course, cooperating in every way possible.
