F. A. Whittier, State Agent,
Stillwater,
Minn.,
Dear Sir:
I am an acquaintance of Louis Dondino, and have
always valued his friendship highly. We were not intimate friends, but as he and
his family lived on the same flore of the Woodward Building as I did, and as he
did the janitor work around my store, I naturally knew him and his folds and
appreciated him as a man who loved his family.
His past habits-sober,
industrious.
Honest-Absolutely honest.
Associates-Honest hared working
men.
Disposition-Gentlemanly, mild, easy-going
General behavior-Very
Good.
He is one of those honest, hard-working men that do not seem to
get ahead mainly on account of lack of education, and consequent misdirected
efforts.
Yours truly,
GRANDQUIST ELECTRIC
CO.

P. S. I would appreciate information as to his status and
chances for parole, if compatible with your rules, and wonder if you would
communicate my best wishes to him. It is the unanimous opinion of the business
and professional men of West Duluth whom I know, that in all justice he ought to
be paroled.
