Interview with Max Mason-6785

Colored. Asks that he be permitted to send $25 to his attorney, R. C. McCollough (sic), of Duluth, this to defray expenses of Mr. McCollough (sic) in making an argument for a new trial before the Supreme Court. Hearing by this court was to be held April 5th. Says the attorney’s fees are $50 but that his sister in Oklahoma is to send $25. Told him this matter should be taken up with the warden but as he wants this attended to at once told him I would call it to the warden’s attention,
