Dear Sir:
My name is Darrel
Nicholson, I am a University of Minnesota student and I am writing an account on
the lynching which occurred in Duluth in 1920. I am writing your office then to
find information as to length of sentence served, etc., of the following
individuals involved in the case.
Max Mason
sentenced in 1921 for
the crime of rape
case went to State Supreme Court with lower court ruling
upheld
Gilbert Henry Stephenson
sentenced in 1921 for the crime of
riot
