Training/Experience: Jane Lamm Carroll, PhD, is a Professor of History and Women’s Studies at St. Catherine University, where, from 2017-2020, she served as the Sister Mona Riley Endowed Chair in the Humanities. She received her BA in history from the College of St. Catherine in 1980 and a PhD in history from the University of Minnesota in 1991. She teaches courses in U.S. history, women’s history, the history of feminism, the history of slavery, and the history of Euro-American colonization.
